​​Dance with Me

Age: 18 months – 3 years

Overview: A joyful introduction to movement where little dancers explore rhythm, coordination, and creativity alongside a parent or caregiver.

Focus Areas:

  • Basic motor skills (walking, jumping, galloping)

  • Musicality and rhythm through songs and props

  • Comfort in a group environment

Strengthening the caregiver–child bond

Class Length: 30 minutes

Progression: Prepares dancers for Ballet Foundations or Foundations Level classes.

Ballet Foundations

Age: 2 – 3 years

Overview: An independent, beginner ballet class introducing basic ballet steps and classroom structure in a fun and nurturing environment.

Focus Areas:

  • Ballet positions and movements

  • Balance, posture, and coordination

Listening skills and independence

Class Length: 30 minutes

Progression: Leads into Foundations Level classes.

Foundations Level (Combo & Acro)

Age: 3 – 5 years

Classes Offered: Ballet, Tap, Jazz/Hip Hop Fusion, Acro

Overview: A playful yet structured program for young dancers ready to explore different styles.

Focus Areas:

  • Introductory skills in each style

  • Musicality, rhythm, and creativity

Classroom etiquette and teamwork

Class Length: 45-60 minutes

Progression: Prepares dancers for Pre Level classes.

Progression: Leads into Level 1 or higher placement-based classes

Intro Level

Age: 10 + Years ( New to Dance)

Classes Offered: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro

Overview: A welcoming program for older beginners who want to explore dance for the first time or after a break. Focused on building a solid foundation while honoring the maturity of older students.

Focus Areas:

  • Fundamental vocabulary and technique in each style

  • Basic coordination, balance, and flexibility

  • Building confidence and comfort in a dance class setting

Class Length: 45–60 minutes

Progression: Prepares dancers to transition into Level 1 or appropriate placement-based classes.

Teen Level

Age: 12 + Years

Classes Offered: Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical

Overview:

Teen Level classes are intermediate-level classes designed for dancers who may benefit from a lower-pressure environment while continuing to grow technically and artistically. These classes allow dancers to focus on strengthening their technique, building confidence, and developing a strong foundation in their training while perfecting elements introduced in Level 2.

Teen Level classes focus on many of the same technical elements and skills introduced in our Level 3 and Level 4 classes, but at a slower pace with additional support and reinforcement to help dancers feel successful and confident in their progress.

Focus Areas:

  • Strengthening and refining Level 2 technical skills

  • Building confidence, performance quality, and consistency

  • Improving flexibility, coordination, and control

  • Learning more advanced combinations and choreography at a supported pace

  • Encouraging personal growth in a positive, encouraging environment

  • Building confidence and comfort in a dance class setting

Class Length: 45–60 minutes

Progression: Prepares dancers to transition into Level 1 or appropriate placement-based classes.

Level 1 - level 4 (Placement based)

Age: 2 - 3 Years

Overview: These levels are designed for dancers ready for structured technical training in one or more styles. Placement is based on skill level, experience, and maturity. When a level has an A or B section, dancers are divided by age to ensure appropriate pacing and challenge.

Focus Areas:

  • Level 1: Foundational technique, vocabulary, and alignment

  • Level 2A / 2B: Building strength, control, and flexibility; introducing more complex sequences

  • Level 3A / 3B: Refining technique, performance quality, and artistry

  • Level 4: Advanced technique, musicality, and pre-professional performance skills

Class Length: 45-60 minutes

Progression:

Teen Level dancers may remain in Teen Level classes or transition into higher placement-based levels through teacher recommendation based on technical growth, confidence, and readiness.

Adult Dance Program

Age: 18+ Years

Classes Offered: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Strength & Stretch, Intermediate/Advanced Jazz/Lyrical

Overview: Fun, welcoming, and judgment-free classes designed for adults of all experience levels — from complete beginners to seasoned dancers returning to the studio.

Focus Areas:

  • Enjoyable movement and exercise in a supportive environment

  • Learning or refining dance technique in various styles

  • Improving flexibility, strength, and stamina

  • Creative expression and stress relief through dance

Class Length: 45-60 minutes

Progression: Adults may choose to dance recreationally or join our performance opportunities based on interest.

Acro

Acro combines the athleticism of gymnastics with the artistry of dance. Students work on flexibility, strength, balance, and tumbling skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and aerials, progressing at their own pace. Safety is our top priority, with skills taught in proper progression using mats, spotting, and strength conditioning. Acro training enhances a dancer’s overall versatility and confidence.

Ballet

Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, fitness, balance, self-discipline, and self-confidence. It provides grace, poise, and the technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Students will learn classical ballet techniques and terminology. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work, and across-the-floor combinations. The ballet curriculum is based on a combination of the French, Vagonova, and Cecchetti methods. We recommend taking ballet as it is a fundamental class to support all other dance styles.

Ballet Foundations

Ages 2-3 years: A thirty minute introductory dance class for toddlers containing ballet and creative movement. Our instructors use imagination games, stories, upbeat age-appropriate music, and props like scarves, hula hoops, tambourines, and maracas to teach balance, rhythm, movement, coordination, and basic ballet steps. Students are introduced to basic ballet vocabulary, while exploring movement and music in a fun, creative way. Students will also work on classroom skills such as following directions, listening and working with others.

​​Dance with Me

Ages 18 months - 3 years: This class is the perfect introduction to movement and dance for your child who is not ready to separate but is ready to explore a nurturing learning environment. The basic elements of dance are introduced in a positive and loving way using props, such as scarves, stuffed animals, and musical instruments. Caregivers (in comfortable clothing) and children participate together throughout the class. Little movers must be walking. Nannies and caregivers are absolutely welcome! This class performs in the annual June Recital.

Hip–Hop

Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.

Pointe

Beginning pointe class can be taken on flat or in pointe shoes at the instructors discretion. All pointe classes are designed for students with previous ballet training. Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work, and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles.

Jazz

Jazz class will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality, and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street, and Contemporary to help develop a well rounded dancer. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations.

Lyrical

Lyrical blends the grace of ballet with the freedom of jazz to create a style that focuses on emotional expression and storytelling. Dancers learn to connect movements to lyrics and music, exploring fluid transitions, controlled extensions, and powerful leaps. This style develops artistry, balance, and control while helping dancers build a deep connection between technique and emotion.

Musical Theatre

A fun, performance-based class that combines dance, acting, and stage presence. Dancers learn choreography inspired by Broadway shows while working on facial expression, projection, and character work. This class builds confidence, stage awareness, and versatility, encouraging students to become well-rounded performers who can captivate an audience.

Strength & Stretch

A non-performance class dedicated to improving core strength, flexibility, and endurance. Students work on conditioning exercises, targeted stretching, and alignment training to prevent injury and support stronger dance technique. This class is highly recommended for dancers in higher levels or those looking to improve their physical capabilities.

Tap

Tap dance turns your feet into musical instruments! This rhythmic, percussive style teaches dancers to create clear sounds and patterns using their tap shoes. Classes focus on timing, coordination, and musical awareness, progressing from basic shuffles and simple combinations to intricate rhythms and syncopated footwork. Tap is excellent for developing listening skills, stage presence, and a deeper understanding of music.

Technique

A skill-focused class with no recital choreography, allowing dancers to dedicate time to improving turns, leaps, jumps, balance, and flexibility. Exercises target precision, placement, and overall control. Technique classes are a great supplement for dancers who want to advance their abilities more quickly or prepare for higher-level classes.

Acro
